The ultimate Children's Festival returns with interactive arts and entertainment. Explore new ideas, see stories come to life or discover the artist in you while participating in music, drama, art and more. Free admission, crafts and children's rides. Food concessions and other items will be available for purchase.
This year's festival will have many new exciting educational and fun areas. Some of the activities we will have are, the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research's Inspiration Lab, Roll N Gamez mobile gaming trailer and laser tag, and the North Carolina Zoo Nature Play activities, kid's fitness classes and yoga, Fish the Magish and more!.
This year's festival will also feature dinosaurs from Dakota and Friends. A few features of their show is a baby dinosaur hatching from its egg, ride on dinosaurs, walking dinosaurs and many more!
The Danville Science Center will have free admission during the Children's Festival thanks to generous support from The Hughes Center.
We are also bringing back favorites from the Children's Festival last year, such as the Splash Zone, Scrap Exchange Make'n'Take program, and more!
