2017 Summer Camp Program
Coates Summer Camp is is jam packed with activities children will enjoy! Our Healthy Kids Play program focuses on physical activity, healthy eating and even learning to grow your own food!
Danville Parks and Recreation is committed to provide a safe, fun and affordable environment. Coates summer camp program is open to all youth ages 5-12. Each week your child will participate in a variety of activities; such as music, gardening, cooking and wildlife education in a hands on setting. In addition, staff will lead campers on field trips around town as well as two out- of- town field trips during the summer; plus there will be guest speakers.
Staff will provide an atmosphere that meets all childcare standards to ensure your child receives the best experience possible.Morning and afternoon snacks, as well as lunch will be provided daily and are included in your weekly enrollment cost. Our site follows the National After School Association's Healthy Eating and Physical Standards and also has SPARK play, CPR and first aid certified staff.
Call or stop by our office to register or if you have any questions. We will need all required forms and documents on file before your child can attend the program.
$55/ part time (3 day- option of any 3 days)
Multi- child discounts available.
Scholarship available to those who qualify.
2017 Summer Camp Play Day
Wednesday, July 26 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Danville Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a Summer Camp Play Day, for children 6-12 years of age, at the Crossing at the Dan. Come out and celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month. Children will have a day of fun, crafts, water activities and entertainment. Please register by Friday, July 21.
