The Danville Farmers' Market is located in the Danville Community Market and is open early May through October, every Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. As well as Wednesday afternoons in July and August 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Make plans to visit the Farmers' Market every Saturday and Wednesday to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, fresh baked goods, wine, coffee, cut herbs, and a variety of other produce, commodities and wares. Come early to get the best selection!
Programs and Services:
Every Saturday, master gardeners are on hand to provide free gardening advice. On the third Saturday of each month will be Dog Wash Days; proceeds will benefit the Danville Area Humane Society. A Donation Station was also started this season through a partnership of Farmer Foodshare, United Way, Danville Regional Foundation, God's Storehouse, and the Danville Farmers' Market. Shoppers donate money to buy fresh fruits and vegetables as well as buy produce to donate. All donations benefit God's Storehouse.
Wellness Checks Danville Regional Medical Center in partnership with Danville Parks and Recreation's Health and Wellness Check Point Team will be on hand every Saturday to provide free wellness checks.
Danville Farmer's Market will continue accepting SNAP/EBT Cards for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, plants, seeds and more. The Farmers' Market received a Make More Happen! grant through the Danville Regional Foundation allowing us to offer a Double Bucks program for the first time this season. We will match up to $25.00 per day per market customer on SNAP purchases.
