Farmers' Market

Programs and Services:

  • Every Saturday, Master Gardeners are on hand to provide free gardening advice.
  •  The Donation Station started in 2015 is open for donations again this season. Shoppers may donate money to buy fresh fruits and vegetables as well as buy produce to donate. All donations benefit God's Storehouse. In 2017 over 4,800 pounds of fresh foods and over $3,000 were donated to God’s Storehouse.
  • The Danville Area Humane Society will be at the Farmers' Market every third Saturday, May through September, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for the dog wash.
  • SOVA Health will also be at the Farmers' Market every third Saturday with specific health information and services which will change from month to month.

Danville Farmer's Market will continue accepting SNAP/EBT Cards for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, plants, seeds and more. The Farmers' Market received a grant for the 2017 market season through Piedmont Credit Union, allowing us to offer the Double Bucks program again. We will match up to $25 per day, per market customer on SNAP purchases.
