Seniors on the Move


Seniors on the Move is a great way to get out and see the U.S. Whether it's an overnight trip, day trip or multiple-night excursion, participants can expect all the fun of travel without having the pain of planning.

Past outings have toured the Biltmore Estate, the Homestead, New York City and even Hawaii. Trips are offered to fit almost every age group, budget and interest.

Rockwell Exhibit at Taubman Museum

Join former Averett University art history professor, Lee Sandstead for a private narrated tour of “American Chronicle:  The Art of Norman Rockewell” exhibit at the Taubman Museum in Roanoke, Virginia.  Lee will share his fascination with Rockwell’s painting and reflect on Rockwell’s life and work.  Lunch will be on your own at a unique Roanoke area restaurant.  Cost: $42 per person.  Call (434) 799-5216.
